About us
18 years working with wood
Aurel has spent 18 years as a carpenter. At AUREL Carpintero Ibiza we take care of every project from start to finish: we listen to what you need, measure up at your home, build the pieces and install them.
We work with solid wood, tropical hardwood and composite, choosing in each case the material that best withstands the island's sun, humidity and salt air.
We only work in Ibiza. That way we can meet deadlines and stay close in case you need anything after installation.

What clients usually ask us
Do the measuring visit and the quote cost anything?
No. We come to your home to take measurements and prepare your quote free of charge and with no obligation.
How quickly do you reply?
We reply right away. We arrange the measuring visit according to the type of project; we take care of everything, turnkey: we measure, build and install.
How long does a job take?
It depends on the project: a small job can be ready in a few days, while a large one — for example a terrace of several hundred square metres or a project for a hotel — takes longer. We agree the specific timeframe with you when we prepare the quote.
How do I pay?
We ask for a deposit when you accept the quote, and the rest is paid in stages as the work progresses. You can pay by bank transfer or in cash.
Which material is best outdoors in Ibiza?
For floors and decking we recommend tropical wood or composite; for pergolas and structures, well-treated solid wood. Outdoor wood needs maintenance: usually a coat of oil or wood stain every one or two years, depending on how exposed it is to the sun. Composite needs almost no maintenance.
Can you make something I saw in a photo or on Pinterest?
Yes. Many clients come with photos or ideas they have seen elsewhere. We can start from there, from a sketch or from your architect’s or interior designer’s plans, and suggest ideas to adapt it to your space.
Do you also do small jobs or repairs?
Yes, we do both small and large jobs: from a repair to a complete project.
Do you work for businesses?
Yes. As well as private clients, we work for hotels, restaurants, construction companies and villa managers on the island.
Do you work all year round?
Yes, we work throughout the year.
Which languages do you speak?
We speak Spanish and Romanian.
Do you issue invoices?
Yes, we issue invoices with VAT (IVA).
